2022 Fostering Change Gala

For the first time in 3 years, SFCASA’s community gathered at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco for our 2022 Fostering Change Gala: These Are Our Kids. Led by event chairs Jeff & Keri Davidson and Kirsten Wolfe & Andrew Brown, the event was a resounding success. Our generous community helped SFCASA reach a $300,000 matching gift goal, bringing the total amount raised for the evening to a record-setting $1.2 million.

Guests started out the evening with delicious tequila cocktails provided by Clase Azul. From there they bid on silent auction items and tried their hand at the wine toss. Dinner was accompanied by wine from Poundstone, Toboni Vineyards, and Haugen Wines. Folks joining virtually snacked on charcuterie boxes from The Cheese School of San Francisco and Oliver McCrumm wines. You can find all of the photos at Drew Altizer Photography, who was there capturing the evening!

Warriors Hype Man Franco Finn got the crowd going with an exciting live auction, featuring incredible trips to Santa Fe and Park City, as well as Date Night for a Year and a curated baker’s dozen case of wine! SFCASA screened a short film featuring former foster youth Kardale, who’s exquisite dancing has earned him a spot in the prestigious Orsolina28 dance company. Former SFCASA Client Nia shared her ‘ode to Anne’, her CASA volunteer who had such a strong positive influence on her life.

It was such a joy to be back together in person and in community with our generous and dedicated network of supporters, partners, donors and friends. Thank you to everyone who made this evening possible.
