SFCASA Swears In Its Final 2015 Class

Last Thursday, on November 19th, SFCASA's final class of 2015 was sworn in as official court-appointed special advocates. We swore in 23 advocates who are eager to begin matching with their client youth after the Thanksgiving holiday. We also had a record number of male advocates (7), who are greatly needed to serve the many young men looking for male role models. Our diverse class also included individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including a physician's assistant, a waitress, a marketing manager, and a director at the Public Utilities Commission.

This year, we had a total of 92 new advocates complete training. We are thankful to this brand new class of CASA volunteers, who will continue to help us reduce the waiting list of foster youth who need a CASA. Scroll through the photos below to get a better look at this exciting day!
