Many times we would like to make a special ‘extra’ available to the children and youth we serve. The following is a suggestion of ways to help support the program. If you have a suggestion, do not hesitate to give us a call at 415.398.8001 or email email@example.com if you are able to donate any of these items to the SFCASA program.
- Gift Cards: for places like Safeway, Target and Trader Joe’s. Many of the kids ask for Safeway cards for their families. Most of the children receive free breakfast and lunch when they attend school, but during winter and summer recess they do not. Purchasing a Safeway gift card for a teen living in transitional housing or family working hard to make a change for their children can take one worry off of a long list – the ability to feed their children during the holidays.
- Discount coupons or gift certificates for youth needs, extracurricular activities or outings: Movie, sports and entertainment, museum passes or memberships, restaurants, bookstores, clothing stores, housewares, etc.
- Holiday Gifts: SFCASA celebrates the Holiday season with our youth by providing them with a Holiday party and gifts that are donated by friends in the community. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in providing gifts from the children’s wish list or making a donation towards the holiday activities.
- Meeting or event space.
- Advertising space: If you represent a publication, newsletter, website or other media, or belong to a membership organization or listserv, help us recruit volunteers by promoting our regular volunteer information sessions – email email@example.com.
