A Multicultural Population is an Asset to Education

San Francisco Bay Area boasts an excellent food scene, beautiful outdoor experiences, cultural eccentricities, and is the hub for innovative advances across an array of disciplines. San Francisco’s population diversity is an immense draw, resulting in a melting pot unlike any other. According to the new Superintendent of the San Francisco Unified School District, Richard Carranza, the variety of peoples, cultures and multi-talented instructors are vital to San Francisco’s educational system. Carranza plans to maintain a curriculum that includes language immersion, art and music- subjects he believes are all “crucial to a well-rounded education”.
