San Francisco’s population diversity is an immense draw, resulting in a melting pot unlike any other. According to the new Superintendent of the San Francisco Unified School District, Richard Carranza, the variety of peoples, cultures and multi-talented instructors are vital to San Francisco’s educational system. Carranza plans to maintain a curriculum that includes language immersion, art and music- subjects he believes are all “crucial to a well-rounded education”.
